Job description PDF , The post holder will predominantly be delivering examinations and administration related to OHID dental epidemiology studies, as well oral health education within the community under the guidance of the epidemiology supervisor. The post holder will be qualified to provide a clinical treatment service, appropriate to the role of a dental therapist as defined by the GDC Scope of Practice. Previous experience of examining in epidemiology desirable, particularly if candidates have previously trained and calibrated against the north west regional standard. The role may require supporting teaching activities on the Postgraduate and Undergraduate clinical placements through the UCLan School of Dentistry. This role is part time contributing three days per week, candidates will need to evidence previous experience, possess a strong knowledge of dental software; preferably SOE, as well as other IT packages.
