Thanks to all of you for indulging me there, and thanks to Paula Cole destiny 1 strange coins twisting my heartstrings, destiny 1 strange coins. Moving right along…. Year 2 Guardians may not be aware of this, but there was a time when we could run a Weekly Heroic Strike for a guaranteed 9 Strange Coins per character, yielding an easy 27 per week. That time ended with The Taken King, and the question we now ask has echoed through the Destiny community ever since — where, in all seriousness, have all the Strange Coins gone?

To add to the faction leveling Tech Support. You finally have a use for all of those Treasure Keys you stored up during House of Wolves and never got around to using once you burned out on Skolas.

Since the release of The Taken King, however, Bungie has made it harder to collect them, meaning players will need to find a good way to farm these unique items. One of the simplest ways to collect Strange Coins is to head to The Tower or The Reef and pick up a slew of new bounties. When completed you can turn these tasks in for additional experience, as well as a small chance at some Strange Coins. Got a couple of pals you want to hang out with? Or just looking to enjoy the Destiny gunplay while you farm? This next farming method is a bit slower than the rest, however, its consistency makes up for the time that it requires. If you head down to a planet and complete anywhere between five to twelve Patrols, a Secret Patrol Mission will spawn. The final Strange Coin farming method we want to touch on requires you to head down to the Prison of Elders, which can be reached from The Reef. Load into the Level 28 arena it helps to bring some friends along , and make your way through the different challenge rooms. Once you complete the various arenas, and the treasure room unlocks, make your way down the hole to the treasure room and open up the two chests found here.

Strange Coins are a form of currency used to purchase items from Xur during his visits to the Tower. They're also found in the loot chests beneath the Prison of Elders. Although there's a limit on the number of Coins each Guardian can earn from Strikes each week, there's nothing stopping you from popping them in the vault and moving them between characters. This enables you to earn a collective 27 Strange Coins a week playing Strikes.

So how do you take your fun, Guardian? Ask A Question. Low level prison of elders is a fairly quick strange coin farm. How exactly are we supposed to be able to pick up what Xur is laying down without some clear source of currency? Ignore mystery patrol LOL. Fastest way to SC is to level up your faction. Jump boost has stopped working ,anyone know why and how to fix it? Where is that promised loot? Well, your guaranteed results only come at the end if you have a key for the big Treasure Chest, which rewards 3 Strange Coins every time you open it. Average that out over a month or two and you should be diving into your riches like Scrooge McDuck!
Target is a retail powerhouse. With stores all across the country, it is a one-stop shop for everything from clothes to home goods to food. But what about people on assistance programs?
Adamska 7 years ago Average that out over a month or two and you should be diving into your riches like Scrooge McDuck! Killing specific enemies, sometimes in specific ways, collecting planetary materials, or even dancing. Low level prison of elders is a fairly quick strange coin farm. Also, you can actually get them on Patrol. Ignore mystery patrol LOL. Do patrols. The problem is Johnny doesn't know what thinking is; he confuses it with feeling. Browse More Questions.
