Spanning over 17, acres, Djuma Private Game Reserve offers fantastic wildlife viewing and panoramic views of the African bushveld, so safari-goers opting to stay here will enjoy an authentic safari experience. Djuma boasts a primarily woodland savannah with thick vegetation, which rarely interferes with wildlife sightings, as the on-site guides and trackers can drive off-road to find the animals. Furthermore, safari-goers will notice rolling Lowveld thicket and scrub, rich riparian forests and seasonal rivers and streams. Because of the open borders with the world-famous Kruger National Park, Djuma affords safari-goers a unique experience in the wilderness, where the iconic Big Five and big cats, including the elusive leopard, are commonly spotted. There are numerous chartered flights and commercial airlines that fly to this region. Direct air chartered flights to the reserve are followed by a minute road transfer. Djuma is located in a designated low-risk malaria area. Although the risk of malaria is reduced in the winter months when it is very dry, it is wise to take precautions during your visit and talk to your doctor before travelling. Most plugs have three round pins but some plugs come with two smaller pins. A stay at one of the lodges in Djuma Game Reserve means a spectacular wildlife experience. The family-owned reserve affords the chance to see all big safari animals, including the Big Five and cheetahs.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was nice. The skills of the tracker and ranger was fantastic.
