Yvette Peters. Yvette was initially drawn to Osteopathy as an active adolescent and was inspired by positive results gained through Osteopathic treatment. She has an extensive background in sports, representing Victoria in the Australian Cross Country championships. She has also had competitive involvement in tennis and athletics. Her active lifestyle enables her to better understand the needs and the functional demands of her patients. Since beginning her Osteopathic studies, Yvette has been a firm believer in holistic health care. She recognizes the importance of developing the correct treatment plan to achieve symptomatic relief and ongoing health and wellbeing. Yvette uses a wide range of techniques and prescribes exercises, postural and lifestyle advice to ensure optimal patient care. She incorporates Trigger Point Dry Needling where required, to compliment her Osteopathic techniques. Yvette treats people of all ages and a wide variety of conditions. As part of her masters program, Yvette researched the cause and effects of headaches and is well equipped to provide treatment and management. Yvette has worked as an assistant lecturer at RMIT University, teaching anatomy and practical classes to osteopathic students. Yvette is a friendly, honest and outgoing osteopath, who loves working alongside her patients with the ultimate aim in helping them achieve their goals in improving their health and quality of life. Hannah has a passion for helping people to improve their quality of life using a combination of Osteopathic techniques, dry needling, rehabilitation exercises, Pilates exercises and education.
