Our board of trustees oversees the work and direction of the organisation and our UK-wide network of volunteer coordinators, and their teams help us to successfully rehome hundreds of Dachshunds every year. We aim to provide loving and permanent homes for Dachshunds whose owners, for whatever reason, can no longer keep them. We have an incredible team of volunteers including, rehoming coordinators, home checkers, drivers, fosterers, and admin staff.

Looking to adopt a dachshund? Please let us help you find the perfect match for your home by completing the online Adoption Application. You can also download and print a PDF version if preferred. You will receive confirmation that we received your application online immediately upon submission as you land on a confirmation page. If chosen for the dog on the application, we will contact you as soon as possible. Please be patient with us as many of our dogs get multiple wonderful applicants, yet can only go to one. When possible, we try to counsel and offer advice to owners considering surrendering their dachshund to our organization as a way of keeping pets in loving homes to prevent coming into rescue.
