Dynamite Woodfire Grill, the restaurant inside the new Farnam Hotel at 12th and Farnam streets, presents diners with an interesting proposition: Would you rather dine with us, or at The Boiler Room? With us, or at V. For me? When Dynamite knocks out a hefty plate of short ribs, a nicely cooked piece of fish or a double smash burger from its massive wood-powered stove, it is very good. But we also encountered stumbles, including a bland corn chowder and a steak that, while nicely cooked, badly needed salt. Dynamite opened in spring , bringing a high-end dining experience to the Landmark Center as part of a reimagining of the building.

Food was good but not exceptional. The French onion soup looked fancy but the crust was cardboard. The soup was fine but small volume. Desert was ok but mostly just sweet. Everyone was so kind, especially our server Jeneva. She walked us through the menu, was so patient, and fun. We had not gone out to dinner in awhile and we had such a nice time. Thank you!

In A Fistful of Dynamite , however, the setting is moved to the Mexican Revolution at the turn of the 20th century. In that sense the filmsthe film and A Fistful of Dynamite have a good deal in common. The Mexican Revolution took place between to roughly when President Madero came to power.
