Poise is a crucial stat in Elden Ring. It keeps you from getting staggered by enemy hits, allowing you to take favorable trades in combat and avoid getting stunlocked. Unsurprisingly, armor sets with high Poise values tend to be quite heavy, so they will often be restricted to characters with a lot of levels in Endurance, or are willing to boost their maximum Equip Load by other means. My only wish is for heavy attacks on lighter weapons to have their poise damage increased so that they're a more reliable tool for breaking hyper armor because it's kinda nutty this patch.
