Overall we found the Zero Gravity mattress very comfortable, but not without some frustrating downsides considering the relatively high cost. A new 'elite' offering from Australia's most-awarded mattress brand is up there with the comfiest yet. A new 'elite' offering from Australia's most-awarded mattress brand is up there with the comfiest yet, and thousands of customers agree. The company also offers a night trial on each mattress so you can truly get a feel for it and decide if it's for you. The Zero Gravity makes up for the extra cash very quickly, with the cooling and pressure-relieving properties quite unlike anything else on the market. The mattress is delivered in a simplified box, ready to unpack, unwrap and unroll easily in the home and the secret lies in the sophisticated structure, which has six hi-tech layers. It begins with the breathable cover, described as a 'dream to lie on', followed by a point-elastic airgocell foam which enhances breathability and regulates temperature by absorbing and 'evaporating' sweat to avoid excess heat during sleep.

The Emma Mattress is a reliable, well made, contouring all-foam bed-in-a-box. It's ultra-comfortable — especially for side sleepers who'll appreciate the gently cradling memory foam on their shoulders and hips — although can trap body heat slightly, so perhaps one avoided for very hot sleepers. Factoring in the regular sales, you're getting excellent value for money. Find out more about how we test. The Emma Mattress, also known as the Emma Original, is well-known in the UK as a reliable, affordable bed in a box designed to boost your sleep comfort for less. It holds a spot high up in the TechRadar best mattress guide as well as topping its best memory foam mattress ranking, because it's fantastic value for money and delivers all-over comfort from the first night. The simple but effective design layers up three different types of foam: one to promote cooling, one contouring memory foam layer for comfort, and one sturdy base foam. There are two cover options — the standard cover which is the one that appeared on my review model , or a 'Comfort cover', which is thicker. The Comfort cover is used on the 'Emma Original Plus' mattress, and is the only difference between that and the standard Original model. The Emma definitely has a softer feel than other comparable models I've tested, though it isn't overly squishy — you'll sink in, but you won't feel as though you're being swallowed whole. I'd rate it around a five out of 10 in terms of firmness, with 10 being 'rock hard'. This mattress dishes out plenty of pressure relief for all sleeping positions, but it's especially comfortable for side sleeping, thanks to the way to foams contour around the sleeper's joints. It has enthusiastic reviews for this sleep style and I'd rate it as one of the UK's best mattresses for side sleepers.
One common issue is a lack of replies to emails, as well as substantially delayed delivery compared to the quoted estimates during purchase.

Emma is a mattress giant and they have recently released a new option. In this Emma Zero Gravity mattress review, I discuss this innovative mattress that promises unmatched pressure relief. This is their third release and their range also includes the Emma Original Hybrid mattress and the Emma Diamond Hybrid mattress. The Zero Gravity mattress is another hybrid option from Emma but this one is a really premium one. The mattress measures 25cm in height and the image below gives us a better look at how it looks from the inside. The cover of this mattress is made of UltraDry fabric that has the ability to regulate heat but at the same time, it allows airflow. The latter ensures that it has a great fit which is quite important. The good news is that this is a removable cover and you can pop it inside your washing machine. The design is a modern one and the mattress looks quite premium. On the sides, you will find 4 handles that will help you move it when that is needed.

Since arriving in Australia, Emma has continued to provide excellent sleep products to help Australians enhance their sleep quality. Its newest mattress released in early — the Emma Zero Gravity mattress — is arguably one of its best. A six-layer hybrid mattress, the Emma Zero Gravity provides exceptional pressure relief and a supportive, comfortable sleeping experience.
Emma adds AI and sound-based sleep coaching to its sleep app. The Emma Original is the cheapest of the brand's lineup, and the only all-foam option. Notably, when sleeping on a different mattress after the review period, we noticed the opposite effect — our once perfectly comfortable mattress felt low in the middle, and movements felt sluggish and heavy. Find out more about how we test. The result is a very uniquely constructed mattress that stands out compared to its closest competition. The AirGrid is supported by a layer of HRX foam to distribute pressure and, under that, the mattress has individually encased pocket springs, followed by another layer of HRX foam. Here's how I got on. The general rule is that heavier you are, the firmer your mattress should be. The Zero Gravity mattress is rated as medium-soft, and while we agree, it is definitely on the firmer end of the medium-soft scale. The rest of the mattress is exactly the same. The fourth layer is the Comfort HRX foam - ergonomically designed foam that adapts to your body and distributes body pressure evenly - followed by the fifth AeroFlex Pocket Spring layer.
