Perhaps some readers who have experience with this on the UB can comment. I was really excited for that. Thank to all!!! Frankly, I don't change it. The Dynamic Contrast setting does deliver deep blacks for a projector without an auto iris, and HDR can look fantastic. Did you get a chance to try out 4k mode and game on the projector? Robert, you are generally always best to mount the projector as close as possible to the screen for your preferred image size, especially with a long zoom like this that can chew a lot of brightness if you have to use the long telephoto position. I'm not sure how many folks have actually experienced the burnout of a laser projector at this point with the tech being relatively new and it having such a long lifespan. We plan to revisit this with a repeat measurement in more ideal conditions and will update our review accordingly. I have been interested in laser projectors for a while now, but what seems off-putting to me, is the quoted life expectancy. As mentioned in the Features section, the Scene Adaptive Gamma setting, thanks to the ZX processor, works in real time on a scene-by-scene basis to further adjust the picture highlights.
