With the new Eso antiquities system, you can scour Tamriel in the hunt for long-forgotten relics, treasures, and knowledge. The Antiquities system is a new in-game activity included with the Greymoor Chapter.

Antiquities is a system released with the Greymoor chapter that is associated with the Antiquarian Circle. The system allows players to engage in the activity of treasure hunting and uncovering lost artifacts, housing items, emotes, personalities and new Mythic items. The Antiquities System has two non-combat skill lines associated with it — Scrying and Excavation. To begin treasure hunting, you first need to join the Antiquarian Circle. To do this, travel to Solitude and speak to Verita Numida , which begins the introductory quest. Alternatively, you can read a poster named Calling All Antiquarians! Completing this quest rewards you with the Antiquarian's Eye , which is required for Scrying.

To begin your journey as an Antiquarian, you'll need to visit the Antiquarian Circle, found in Solitude, in Western Skyrim. There, you will find Verita Numida, who will start you on your path. The Antiquities Codex allows you to see all of the Antiquities you can Scry for, and all of the Antiquities you previously uncovered. Any time you want to search for an Antiquity, the Codex should be your first stop. The first entry in the Antiquities Codex is the Scryable list. This list displays all of the Antiquities you can currently search for. Select an Antiquity from this list to begin Scrying.
