Conclusion: Our youth seems to have less problems of this kind. We should preserve our strong familial ties and must feel responsible for protecting them from the negative influence of media. In this study we tried to discuss drug narcotic and substance addiction that we often come across in our society and education area these days. While deciding whether a substance is a drug narcotic or not,it is an important criterion if it becomes a habit. Besides it is decided considering if this drug is cautionary,excitant,intoxicant and if it causes daydreams,remove willpower and discernment or not. Two kinds of addiction may occur towards drugs. One of them is physical somatic addiction and other one is psychological addiction. Drugs or narcotics are substances that cause lethargy in central nervous system because of their pharmacological characteristics and they cause pychological and physical addiction on people. Most important of them are opium, morphine heroin,hashish, marijuana,cocaine,amphetamines,hypnotisch,glues and solvents. Existing statistics supports the general idea which is about the increase of drug usage all over the world. Most dangerous ages for using drugs are between 12 and 17 and number of addicteds increase at the age of 17 and Sex, socioeconomic conditions, personality, success at school, family, cigarette and alcohol, attainability of substances, friends and age factors may be effective on using substances.
