The Evoker is a new hero class arriving in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight that uses evoker power of the five dragonflights to both devastate its foes and preserve the health of its allies while making use of Mail armor for defense.

Dracthyr Evokers were created to wield the magic of all five dragonflights, and seek to forge their own path in Azeroth. They can empower their draconic abilities through magic, charging up their attacks and unleashing them at the right moment to devastating effect, and use their superior mobility to dart in and out of the fray as the situation demands. Evokers possess special Empowered abilities that they can use to change the strength of a spell or ability as it is cast. Wise Evokers take advantage of those empowered spells and fight from a moderate range, demolishing foes with fiery breath attacks or restoring allies to keep them in the fight. Devastation Evokers use the power of the red and blue dragonflights to do devastating damage to their foes, while Preservation Evokers use the power of the green and bronze dragonflights to heal their allies in battle.

An evoker is a spell-casting illager found in woodland mansions and raids , and the only source of the totem of undying. It uses two spells to attack; one that summons armor -piercing fangs and one that summons vexes. An evoker spawns during the generation of particular woodland mansion rooms. They do not respawn after their initial spawn. Evokers spawned with mansions do not naturally despawn unless the world difficulty is switched to peaceful. In Bedrock Edition , evokers can spawn in peaceful difficulty, and will not attack the player. Evokers can spawn during raids by themselves or riding ravagers. Evokers cannot spawn in raids in easy difficulty, because such raids have only three waves, while evokers appear in the fifth wave and above. Evokers spawn during raids starting at wave 5. Up to 5 evokers spawn on hard difficulty. During these events, they can be a raid captain. On hard difficulty, evokers can also spawn riding a ravager at wave 7. They may also rarely spawn as a raid captain. Up to 5 evokers spawn during raids, with 1 evoker spawning during waves 5 and 6, and 3 evokers spawning during wave 7.
