Here we get to see Glaceon looking alert but relaxed on a snowy park bench, its tracks showing how it arrived from right of the frame. It's a-freaking-dorable. Competitively, the best thing to do with Glaceon V is evolve it into as soon as possible—so it's nice that its first attack, Frozen Awakening, expedites that process. Espeon V has always been a chase card in Evolving Skies, for the same reasons as the other alt-art Eeveelutions.

This card is just cool! The Hobby Bin. I'm not personally as big a fan of this art as I am of most of the cards on this list. The green of Rayquaza and the green of the forest ruins kind of blend together, and it's not immediately obvious that Dynamax Rayquaza is far bigger than normal. This version leans into Dragonite's cartoony design with a soft, rounded art style depicting Dragonite mid-yawn. This is the highest-value Eeveelution V in Evolving Skies, for a few reasons. You really can't say enough about the Alternate Art cards in Evolving Skies, and we love the variety of designs we get to see with all the different Eevee evolutions in this set. Any time Pokemon decides to put any of the Eeveelution line in a Pokemon card set, you can be sure that collectors everywhere will want to get their hands on it. It's a-freaking-dorable. That's pretty much the entire premise of several dozen Pikachu shorts, and it's true here as well. It's a-freaking-dorable. Menu Close. Glaceon VMAX swsh competitive potential never materialized, but that hasn't mattered for the popularity of this card. It's pretty surprising when a set can pull in values this high without a Charizard, and it is also a nice break from what has become somewhat standard. Up at 9 we already have our next Pokemon in the Eeveelution line. Unlike the other Eeveelutions, its Espeon VMAX swsh isn't available in Evolving Skies or in special collections—if you want to complete your alt-art collection, you'll need to crack some packs of Fusion Strike. Umbreon's familiar, cat-like posture lends a kind of realism to this fantastical scene. But that's not why you buy this card. If you are a cat lover you will probably feel a connection with this card.
