I am relatively new to 4wdtrip. I drive a 93 80 series landcruiser that has an ARB bullbar which has been on the vehicle since new, and of course makes no provisions for a winch. Now I would like to say I am so experienced that I don't need a winch cos my skills combined with driving a cruiser I never get bogged, stuck or end up in a precarious situation - but that would not be true, many times I have had to drag out the turfir hand winch much to my disgust to extricate myself from whatever mess I have gotten into. So given that it is a requirement for most trips I have decided to treat myself to a new electric winch, ergo a new bullbar and while I am at it a rearbar would be good too.. I have not had to buy 4x4 accessories for over 15 years and how the world has changed.
