Fallout 4 offers you the chance to form a bond with another character, but it's not as simple as turning up with gifts or remembering to explore dialogue options; as with real life, you'll have to prove yourself consistently interesting and delightful. With both of their parents gone and Nat too young to work, Piper relied mainly on kindness and charity to survive. Eventually, the sisters were able to save enough money to relocate to Diamond City by paying for passage on a caravan. Despite her noble intentions, her career was fraught with danger and intrigue from the outset.
