As a Belmar local, I always try to take full advantage of what my favorite beach town has to offer. For example, I started my Friday afternoon hanging out with friends and supporting local music at Stay Gold Cafe. I simply was hopping around town, enjoying the weather, and supporting local businesses. That's what living at the Jersey Shore is all about! After a couple of drinks at 10th Ave, my girlfriend and I walked over to what I think is now my new favorite restaurant in Monmouth County. Details below! For this article, I am highlighting my new favorite Monmouth County restaurant. I always thought this place was tremendous, but after my last experience, I think it's safe to say it's my new favorite spot. We started the meal eating a salad, a bowl of pasta fagioli, and a side of meatballs. It was the perfect start to a great meal.

We visited during the holidays and were so amazed by the aquarium! So many fascinating tanks of fish The nostalgic atmosphere created a sense of fun and excitement. There is an outdoor area overlooking 10th Ave that is covered. Was greeted and seated quickly after arriving. My order was taken quickly, and the raspberry tea was served quickly. It did not take long for the eggplant Parmesan to be served. The eggplant Parmesan was excellent, and a good portion that came with penne pasta. The waitress checked back several times and also refilled my raspberry tea. I also observed a waitress completely wipe down a table AND the chairs just vacated by other patrons. At a time when people may be reluctant to go out to eat — after observing them clean that table — there is every reason to feel comfortable dining here.

We had the whole place to ourselves at 1pm on a Tuesday in November but this was no indication of the great food to come. They had an appetizer special that I'd never heard of before. Stuffed onion rings. They were onion rings with ricotta, spinach and mozzarella. They were very tasty. Then we had a sausage pizza. So amazing. Thin, crispy, tons of flavor. Service was super friendly and helpful.
