We counted 13 bridges over the creek on the way down. Easy walking except for a few short steep grades and quite a few tripping hazards to be watchful for. Nice hike, but it was very very slushy, wet and slippery! This was a great hike on a groomed trail. A perfect time to be out. Nice well signed trail with lots of beautiful wild flowers and butterflies.

The grasses are of different varieties with a gamut of colours. Slippery in spots, but manageable with just poles. Hard to trudge through so we took the road back, not that it was much better. Glen Heal reviewed Horseshoe Canyon Trail. Great day in the snow. Start at campsite and goes nice easy uphill. This is more of an intermediate then easy. This was a great hike on a groomed trail. Otherwise, the trail is well marked, easy to go down, and fairly pretty minus the bugs. Easy walking except for a few short steep grades and quite a few tripping hazards to be watchful for.
