Fia is a deathbed companion that you will find inside a small bedroom at the Roundtable Hold. Her embrace will give you a special consumable that can increase poise called the Baldachin's Blessing , at the cost of a debuff that slightly decreases your maximum HP. You can ostensibly come back for more if you happen to run out of this consumable. Fia's Questline Steps are highlighted below. Greetings, great champion called by grace. I am Fia.

Every time you hug Fia, she steals some of your maximum health. Some sources say you need only beat Godrick , lord of Stormveil Castle; others claim you must reach the Altus Plateau first, or possibly have two Great Runes in your possession. In any case, some combination of the above will trigger a new option when hugging Fia. Fia asks you to give the Weathered Dagger to its owner. Naturally, this being Elden Ring , she gives you no clues as to who that is. Leave the Hold and teleport back, and look for a newly opened door just past Hewg, the blacksmith. Disturb not the Death of Godwyn, the exalted. We, who humbly live in Death Live in waiting, to one day welcome our Lord. What right does anyone have to object?
It is currently unknown what exactly triggers this step, although it usually appears after you have reached the Atlus Plateau.
The Elden Ring Fia quest doesn't appear properly until a little later in the game. You can meet Fia, the Deathbed Companion in the Roundtable Hold fairly early on, and decide whether you want a free hug or not. Spoiler: it's not actually free. The actual meat of her questline won't start until you get to the Altus Plateau via the Grand Lift of Dectus or the Ruin-Strewn Precipice, after you've already spent some time wandering around Limgrave and Liurnia. Fia's quest is up there with Dung-Eater , Goldmask , and even Ranni in terms of how it impacts which Elden Ring ending you can get. Her quest also ties into lots of others, as with Rogier , and goes a long way to expanding the lore around the Night of the Black Knives, and all those undead enemies that keep emerging from the ground.

Head north from the Ancient Grounds Site of Grace away from Nokron to find the aqueduct to which Rogier was referring. Wordle hint and answer March 3 After that, head into the newly opened room beyond where Blacksmith Hewg resides, and you'll find D dead on the floor, Fia standing over him. The next time you speak to him after that, he appears to have died. Now to introduce yourself to the main character of this questline: Fia, the Deathbed Companion. The boss will drop Gargoyle's Greatsword and Gargoyle's Twinblade. Email required. Eventually, you will see a ledge below you; jump to it to reveal the Across the Roots Site of Grace. Doing this earlier risks ending the Fia quest out of nowhere, but by doing it afterwards, you don't lose anything and gain this unique Greatsword in the process. It's worth noting that this boss drops the Elden Ring Deathroot item, which is unrelated to this quest, but valuable all the same in unlocking bestial incantations. Fia will then tell you her plan to lay with Godwyn and bear a child with which Godwyn can live "a second, illustrious life". You have two options for reaching this biome, and neither is particularly easy. After defeating Mohg in the Forsaken Cathedral, hit the altar, and descend to the Frenzied Flame location. Once in the Deathbed Dream, you'll have to battle Lichdragon Fortissax. Here, you will engage in a serial boss fight, wherein you will be taking on a series of Fia's Champions.
