I'm looking for some advice on where to assign my espers, when I get them. I'm not really sure I can evaluate what the best way to divide them up is, based on what they unlock for each job.
Final fantasy 12 espers
Summoned creatures are a mainstay in the Final Fantasy series. Espers can be summoned by the party once they are defeated in combat. Five espers are necessarily obtained during the plotline while the other 8 are obtained in optional areas of the game. Firstly, we want to describe where each Esper can be met in the game. Gaining the ability to summon an Esper is not their only function, however. Espers also act as "bridge nodes" on each of the 12 new Zodiac License boards, and behind each Esper node are a few extra nodes you could not otherwise reach until you activate that Esper on the board. However, it is very important to note that Espers can only be assigned to one character only, so not every character can access all the nodes on their license boards locked behind Espers. So deciding which class to give which Esper to requires a decision to be made. We're here to help. This guide will give a quick summary on where to find each of the game's thirteen Espers, as well as information on which nodes they unlock on each of the license boards. We will also offer our own suggestion on which jobs benefit most from which Espers based on the skills they unlock for each job.
Later in the game, the higher-end summons like Ultima and Zodiark can put out decent per-hit numbers but considering how well geared you probably had to be to final fantasy 12 espers them down in the first place, their damage still isn't likely to measure up.
If you've played a Final Fantasy game before, you'll probably be familiar with the concept of Summons. In Final Fantasy 12 The Zodiac Age however, these are replaced by Espers , which perform in much the same way outside of the different terminology. There are 13 Espers in total, and here in this guide will be taking you through each of those, including the hidden Esper locations , strategies , and battles , for any that don't already appear within the main part of Final Fantasy 12's story - which you can read about, along with plenty of other guides too, over in our main Final Fantasy 12 The Zodiac Age walkthrough and guide hub. Here's a list of our specific walkthroughs for each "hidden" Esper that you won't find in the main story - you can find more details on what exactly Espers are meanwhile, and how they work, in the section below. You'll first be introduced to Espers during the main storyline, and while you'll pick up five just by following the plot, there are eight more hidden ones for you to find and defeat. If you've played other Final Fantasy games before you can think of Espers as XII's equivalent of Summons, and you may even notice that some of them are reminiscent of bosses you've fought in earlier games. If you're new to the franchise, though, they may need some explanation.

These creatures go by different names depending on the game, but in Final Fantasy 12 they are referred to as Espers. Seeing this, the gods were angered and struck down their blessed children, and binding their souls and flesh with the Glyph of the Beast, they stole their freedom for all eternity. Bhujerba - Lhusu Mines. Five espers are necessarily obtained during the plotline while the other 8 are obtained in optional areas of the game. I find the espers to be pretty useless outside of unlocking specific licenses that, in turn, are useful. Famfrit splashes his enemies with Briny Cannonade unless they absorb Water. The freely traversed environment set its own challenges for recreating that in Final Fantasy XII , and in the end the developers did not have enough time to perfect the system until the International version where Espers become fully controllable rather than following an AI. When you add an Esper to a party member's License Board only they can summon it, so when acquiring them it's a good idea to spread them out a little, and some classes may have additional License Board abilities tucked behind certain Espers - so be sure to look at everyone before deciding. Otherwise, Addle and Shear are especially good debuff technicks you can give to your Time Battlemage. But there's very nice bonuses on others, too. Belias will always be the first Esper acquired by the party. It deals damage by the same calculation as the item Dark Matter , meaning its damage cap is 60,, making it the second most powerful single attack in Final Fantasy XII , only bested by Zeromus's Big Bang.
There are thirteen Espers in Final Fantasy 12, eight of which are optional foes outside of the main story.
Ridorana Cataract - Pharos - Subterra. How do I beat Zodiark? Nabriales, another Scion of Light, is a name of an angel in Jewish mythology. Zeromus is an optional Esper hiding away in a secret area of the Stilshrine of Miriam. Keep scrolling for more. I actually am already using the spreadsheet, although that second link seems very useful also, especially since it doesn't list things in the esper unlocks that are acquired naturally in the other class, and you can select quickenings to choose which will also automatically sort out skills the espers would duplicate. The battle to obtain Zodiark in the Henne Mines is extremely difficult. As always, consider if you have any job pairings that can benefit from Exodus twice. Exodus commands celestial bodies, attacking his foes with Comet and his ultimate attack Meteor , whereupon Exodus sends two comets from the ends of his scales to the sky summoning a giant meteor. I'm not worried about having the best team, but if there are some choices that would just be plainly better than others I'd love to know.
It is not logical
I am sorry, that I interfere, I too would like to express the opinion.
Wonderfully!
