I liked the size and the campus was beautiful. It was a good fit for me and I could picture myself there. The culture and everything it offered was so exciting to me. Academically Geneseo was a very different school when I attended, and it's much higher caliber now. They've been able to accept stronger students and grow along with them. Geneseo really exposed me to all the different areas of communication that I could go into after I graduated. I really liked the way the major was set up because it gave me a breadth of exposure to different types of jobs.

I also spend so much time chatting with my family and friends back in my country. Although we are doing different majors, I still can guide and explain to him clearly about how everything works in this University and in this country, be it about the course work or even how to get around in the city. I did not want to go into radio or TV, but I really liked public relations and marketing, and I was exposed to both. It is not an easy thing to do but I will try my best to make it happen. As my brother just finished his high school education and has been interested in studying Computer Science, this would be a perfect opportunity for him as well.

I study on my own and he works on his own as well. Most of the time I need to get out of my own comfort zone and make decisions on my own. I am an international student from Cambodia. At one point we were stuck, and there was nothing left for us to do but to order food and eat together before we reattempted to finish the work. I video call them every weekend to see how they are doing. There were also some other experiences that are still in my fond memory such as the ski trip organized by the Korean Culture Institute, my participation as an orientation leader during the New Students Welcoming Week of Spring , my first time being a residential assistant in Spring , and many more. I still keep in touch and get together with friends I made at Geneseo. Eventually I ended up doing graphic design for a biotech company, creating print marketing, and a lot of presentations. I also spend so much time chatting with my family and friends back in my country. I would tell anybody to consider it if they're thinking of attending a private university. It is not an easy thing to do but I will try my best to make it happen. He tries his best to guide me toward my goals, yet that does not mean he allows me to rely on him all the time.
