The main attraction is Freddy Fazbear and his two friends. They are animatronic robots, programmed to please the crowds. They seem to be totally fine during the day. However, their behavior changes at night. Your mission is to keep an eye on these toys and survive. The object is monitored by security cameras. Make pizzas, give them to hungry kids, and get high scores! The game starts with a minigame that looks like an 8-bit game. The player controls Freddy Fazbear in this minigame. The goal is to get hold of pizzas and throw them at customers. Later, another Freddy sprite shows up and gets in the way of the pizzas. Then, the minigame breaks, and the player moves on to the next screen. After the glitch, the player is sitting at a desk with a cassette recorder and a piece of paper.

As the title suggests, this game's main focus is running a pizzeria and making sure it is a safe environment. Failure to do so may result in getting sued, and possibly blacklisted if sued too many times. The true gameplay of the game, however, after finishing their pizzeria, forces the player to sit after closing time to fend off the salvaged animatronics that lurk inside while they finish their tasks.
