In this section, I will explain how to make a copy of object like a sketche or a sokid, and to move it to other position. If the selected object has a dependency object, a Selection dialog will be shown. Make sure that all items are checked, then click OK. If you uncheck the dependency object e. Sketch in the selection dialog, the source and copy will share the same dependency object Sketch. In this case, if you change the dependency object Sketch , the change will be reflected not only in the source but also in the copy. A source object and a destination object are overlapped completely after copy operation.

I just don't seem to be able to do any of this with the mouse. But I'm not complaining. Hold Shift , then move the pointer. It is a neat and fast way to think. In order to select objects, you must hold the Shift or Ctrl key. You can do that but normally we don't. I do have a sense that I will eventually gravitate towards text based programming with Python. A source object and a destination object are overlapped completely after copy operation. With this method the middle mouse button may be released after the right mouse button is held pressed. If the buttons are released before you stop the mouse motion, the view continues spinning, if this is enabled. I was able to set one object to a position of 0,0,0 but now with the second it is grayed out. If you want to translate the object, drag an arrow.
