Gabi Braun is an anti-heroine and a major character in the Japanese dark fantasy manga series Attack on Titan , and its anime television series adaptation of the same name. She is an Eldian girl born and raised in Marley as a soldier devoted to her nation, who also bore nothing but disgust towards the "devils" of Paradis Island. Despite her young age Gabi distinguished herself in the Marleyan military and eventually became one of the few Warrior candidates to inherit her older cousin Reiner 's Armored Titan power.

She is also brave, possessing boundless determination, and willing to put her life on the line to complete a goal for a perceived greater good. She also shows great concern for her fellow Eldians , risking her life to take out a train instead of letting of her brethren charge the gunmen guarding their objective. However, these attributes can also make her somewhat overbearing and domineering. This causes her to be tactless at times, forcing her opinions on others and taking charge regardless of whether it was asked for or not.
