My wife and I had travelled past the Galicia Restaurant and Tapas Bar many times on our way into the centre of Croydon but on this ocasion we decided to get off our bus and have a late afternoon meal. We were greeted at the The restaurant itself was fairly busy with many tables occupied by families eating and drinking and enjoying the atmosphere. We took this as a very good sign as a quiet eatery , through our experience, has sometimes proved disappointing.. However, having placed our food and wine orders, we were soon tucking into our chosen dishes with relish. I had a plate of beans with pieces of ham and black pudding. It was very tasty and very filling.

Highly recommend to anyone! Staff are buzzing with energy and the authenticity is amazing, it can be quite a pain to move around as the place fills up but its easily overlooked as nobody really walks around when eating a meal anyway. Nothing was touch trouble and the food was great. Shiny tiles in blue and white give this modern Spanish tapas bar and restaurant a clean edge. In the restaurant you can enjoy dishes like the famous tapas. Recommend another dish. If you don't like occasionally loud and high tempo places this place is not for you.
