She was a last-minute replacement for the original prophesied SkyWing egg, killed alongside its carrier by Burn in the prologue of The Dragonet Prophecy. She is currently in a relationship with Deathbringer.

She currently resides in the RainWing village and is in a relationship with Deathbringer. Glory has green eyes [1] and brilliant, [2] color-changing scales that are dull and mousy in comparison to those of other RainWings. Unlike most RainWings, Glory tries to keep her scales from showing emotions. Glory is often depicted as teasing, sarcastic, [17] cross, [18] snide, [19] intelligent, fierce, [20] firm, [21] sniping, [22] and arch. Upon meeting Winter , she beckoned him to walk beside her as an equal and greeted him as visiting royalty. It is hard to figure out what she truly wants, [34] but Moonwatcher stated that she would not want enchanted obedience or fake love from her NightWing subjects.

She was always the "pretty one" back in the caves where the dragonets of destiny grew up in. Unlike most fellow RainWings, Glory mostly tries to keep her scales from showing emotions and is therefore usually seen with dark, emerald green scales dappled with light and flares of orange around her ears and along the underside of her wings, since she likes them to match the leaves around her and the rainforest she lives in. Glory is often depicted as teasing, sarcastic, cross, snide, intelligent, fierce, firm, sniping, arch, ,bold, aloof, judgmental, brave, and impatient with anyone lazy or stupid. She has been described as the queen of sarcasm. For many years Glory acted as if she did not care about anything, until when she found out about the kidnapped RainWings. When Moonwatcher suggested that Glory return to the RainWing village for her own safety, she snorted as though she was sure she could handle anything. She has a steely ferocity about her, and Deathbringer described her as reckless.

She is also the ruler of the NightWing Tribe, though this status is not likely to remain long with the discovery of the Lost Night Kingdom. Glory's at-rest coloring is aqua blue, with a cornflower blue face, a white underbelly, yellow stripes, and vermilion wing membranes, as well as other colorful accents. Glory is very sarcastic, and likes to appear unfriendlier than she is. She is very loyal to her friends, and is like a mother to her tribe. However, she has no love for her enemies whom she has no regrets about killing and is generally suspicious of other dragons. Glory's best friends are the other Dragonets of Destiny and Jambu, her relative.

As she bent to sniff one of the tiny footprints embedded in the mud, she was knocked out by a heavy blow to the back of her head. Unlike most RainWings, Glory tries to keep her scales from showing emotions. She was also indirectly mentioned when Fierceteeth talked about how much she wanted the dragonets dead. When Glory first met Deathbringer, she had been disguised as an IceWing, trying to probe information out of him. Glory was described as having an elegant snout, a long, graceful body with soft wings, and was also mentioned to be pretty or beautiful numerous times by other dragons. Scarlet kept Kestrel and Sunny in special prisons, but Clay, Starflight, and Tsunami were kept on the prison towers that surrounded her arena. As they exited the fortress, Starflight told the gathered NightWings that accepting Glory's rule was the only way to live, unless they wanted to fly over the ocean. Deathbringer stood up. She often remembers her first time put under the sun and fed fruit, but always eventually reminded herself that she was used as if she was an artifact. She followed Glory in escaping, and claims that she'd follow Glory anywhere, even when Glory threatens to take the throne by force. She apparently knew about his crush on Sunny and thought he should do something about it. Sunny added that Clay may tell her that it was his fault and punish him instead. Pineapple offered to go in his place, which Jambu happily agreed to as he went back to sleep.

He took off, with Glory right behind him but wincing in pain. She's probably waiting for the other two to kill each other. She also felt compassionate about getting Tamarin a better teacher at Jade Mountain Academy. Glory summoned a meeting at the Royal Pavilion , calling a few scouts to report if they had seen anything suspicious. Into Wings Of Fire? There was a young RainWing in her cell, who introduced herself as Kinkajou. Around midnight, they heard loud stamping noises accompanied by sniffling and snorting. Kestrel did not like RainWings in general, and would often call Glory a "lazy RainWing", even though Glory trained and studied harder than the other dragonets. Instead of the usual fight-to-the-death challenge, Glory decided to let each NightWing decide for themselves which dragon they wanted as their ruler. After a brutal hurricane hit the Bay of a Thousand Scales, SkyWing soldiers began attacking the Summer Palace with flaming logs, setting fire to anything--or anyone--they touched. She apparently knew about his crush on Sunny and thought he should do something about it. Sunny said that Webs' scratch had gotten worse and that he needed a healer. She went to the end of Glory, rested her hands on the halfway out egg, and pulled. As a NightWing guard stepped forward with a three-pronged spear designed to unlock her band, he jumped out of the way; but not fast enough.
