Hi all. I am very new to GS and macros in WoW in general. I have watched the majority of the videos, but I think I am still missing something. I had a few questions. How do I use someones macro that they posted. Example: Using 'Zoo' build and macro - Patch 7. I have tried using the default macros you get when you install the addon and I am not understanding how to get it to carry over when I actually create the macro in my character specific macro list.

I did a little look into this addon, watched some videos, and got a sense of the strengths and weaknesses of it. My rough notes to myself are appended. I did not try to clean it up any or make it clean, but if you want to dig deeper there is some stuff there. Under each section I gave examples of the kind of things you can put there. You can go to LazyMacros and just use stuff out of the can. Make sure you import their strings, and read their notes on how to use it, and for what talent spec it works best in. This can be problematic because people try to automate a lot of the decision making involved. I am an intermediate level macro writer for WoW, and have a pretty basic understanding of what you can do with macros. You would basically put in the high priority stuff first, and it would execute it. The way macros work in the game now is if you have that priority list, if it can not do the first command in the list, WoW dumps the macro.

This is a small addon that allows you create a sequence of macros to be executed at the push of a button. However, unlike castsequence, it uses macro text for the commands instead of spells, and it advances every time the button is pushed instead of stopping when it can't cast something. This means if a spell is on cooldown and you push the button it will continue to the next item in the list with each press until it reaches the end and starts over. When you first install the addon you will need to rename "ExampleSequences. My old GS tread got a bit confusing for people because of this. So I am recreating it, only using the GSE format. In Legion Best Mastery damage is very pet centric. As such both my spec, and my rotation macros are designed around the boosting and the commanding of the pets. Also they are mainly designed for the use of Spirit Beasts, that have the Tenacity spec.
