God of war alfheim chest
God of War is full of surprises, and that makes god of war alfheim chest particularly tricky to write. We want to help you with the game. Rather than spoil that reason, our tables of contents and a big image in the guide indicating spoilers ahead will tell you when and why you find yourself in that situation — in the least spoilery way possible.
The white marble Legendary Chest puzzle is located in the room after the battle with the light Elves, when Tyr said he would handle it, but Kratos and Atreus ended up fighting them anyway. Instead of finding a way through the large bright door ahead, turn left and jump down to where the golden wheel is. Ignore the wheel and instead head through the door beside it to start the Legendary Chest puzzle. If you want to know how long Kratos' epic adventure will take, we've also got a page on how long to beat and Platinum Trophy length. You can now jump down the platform in front of you and open the Legendary Chest to get the 'Hilt of Gram' Relic, which grants a burst of Rage and applies Stun to nearby enemies when used.

This time around, Alfheim is a little different, and is feeling the effects of Fimbulwinter in its own unique way. This makes posting guides — and screenshots — a bit tricky. The Strond is the entrance to Alfheim, and will take you up to the Temple of Light. From the Mystic Gateway, walk up the left path until you reach a crack in the wall that you need to squeeze through. After squeezing through the rock crack we mentioned above, drop down immediately to your left. Turn around and light it up. Walk forward past the Nornir Chest until you hit the wall. Look over the left edge of the cliff to find the second brazier. Burn it. The third brazier is a bit of a journey although you can activate it from below if you have Hex arrows already. Climb back up to where you were before you dropped down for the Nornir Chest. Move forward, climbing the wall and then grappling. When you reach the landing with the circle on the ground, turn left and drop off the ledge.
The first two seals are here — one ahead of you and one behind you. Jump down to the glowing chest. Turn around from the chest and knock down the crystal above you.
The sections on this page are ordered by when you can visit them earliest in the game. Additionally, there are no Legendary Chests in The Canyons. The Legendary Chest in The Strond is found just after you first use Twilight Stone to destroy a wooden door from behind and fight some Wretches. Standing in the doorway facing the way forward, you should see a ledge just ahead that you can drop down. Do so, head left, then destroy the debris blocking the way, then kill the two Wretches who show up. In the room beyond the doorway will be the Legendary Chest, sitting next to an Artifact. This chest can be found in a side-area just after Tyr jumps across some hanging panels to give you a way to cross a gap.
Nornir Chests are puzzle-based chests that ask you to locate and either activate or destroy three Runes in the nearby environment. The sections on this page are ordered by when you can visit them earliest in the game. Additionally, there are no Nornir Chests in The Canyons. On the other side, head left at the fork and drop down the ledge to find the chest. It'll be on your right. The C Rune can be found to the left of the Nornir Shine on top of the cliff. The N Rune is to the right of the Nornir Chest, just a bit below the edge of the cliff where the wooden scaffolding is. To get it, return to the split that led you to the Nornir Chest and this time take the right-hand path up the ledges.

Like the previous area, there are an awful lot of things to see and do here, with multiple favors, another stranded Hafgufa, and two Nornir Chests being just a few of the things that are on offer to players. Though one of the Nornir Chests in the Forbidden Sands is relatively easy to find and open, the other is surprisingly well-hidden and requires a complex solution involving Sigil Arrows, Sonic Arrows, and Kratos' iconic Blades of Chaos. With a little help though, God of War Ragnarok players shouldn't have too much trouble with it, as knowing where to look can make life a lot easier. The first Forbidden Sands Nornir Chest can be found behind a moveable pillar in a small alcove to the southwest of the region. Players will probably want to complete the Song of the Sands favor first though, as although the chest can be opened during the sandstorm, the process becomes much easier after the second Hafgufa has been set free and players can see what they are doing. Like many of the other Nornir Chests in God of War Ragnarok , opening this one will require players to ignite three torches, the first of which can be found in the enclosed area with the chest. The second is on a stone pillar opposite the pillar that players need to move in order to access the area with the chest, though this one will need to be ignited using a combination of Sigil Arrows and the Blades of Chaos rather than just the latter. The third and final torch is over to the right of the second one up on a large rock shelf. It's a little hard to reach due to how high up it is, but with some smart use of Sigil Arrows, players should be able to get it lit after a few attempts. For those unaware, firing three Sigil Arrows at the same spot will increase the blast radius of the arrows, thus making it much easier for players to chain arrows together and create larger explosions.

Climb up and face down The Hateful once again in the Draugr Hole. Head to the left and watch for a root-covered wooden chest. The chest contains the Hardened War Handles. Paint some hex sigils on the ceiling from the corruption on the left side of the room to the lantern itself. Browse the gallery above for the details on each item. Throw the Leviathan Axe at it, cutting the Nest Matter and revealing a grapple point on the wall. When you close the tear, grab your loot and head back to the mystic gateway. PlayStation trailer shows Kratos, Joel and Ellie at the football. The gear inside is the Rond of Affliction, which causes an elemental explosion when a Status-Afflicted enemy is hit by a Shield Strike done by double-tapping L1 by default. Have the boy shoot the three crystals in the floor to reveal a realm tear. Backtrack and open the coffin for the Runic War Belt.
Finding all of Alfheim's treasure chest locations in God of War: Ragnarok is difficult, and solving the puzzles to access them is even harder. Each Nornir Chest is locked with rune sigils that the player will have to find and know what to do with. Some chests are easy, simply requiring the player to light the corresponding braziers using the chaos blades.
Climb again to get to the second floor. In the local area is a Coffin, which is actually entirely optional here! When you reach the rock face that you can climb up, look under the circle carved into the wall. To start, hang down off the first ledge and then grapple across to the first plate on your left. Once inside, head to your right and grab the Tribute to Freyr Artifact off of the ground. Turn left and light it up with your Blades of Chaos. Grapple on the rocks until you reach the other side. Toss your axe and collect your hacksilver. Make your way to the broken elvish temple in the top-left part of the map, which we mentioned above. This Nornir Chest is found shortly after your first fight with Light Elves, but it requires a piece of equipment you receive in the Forging Destiny main quest. He has learned to love just about every genre of game that exists.
