For the morning we planned to explore Lake Rotoiti and its surrounding. In the early afternoon we would travel north toward Golden Bay to finally end at Wharariki Beach. The journey to Golden Bay would take about 3 hours so we planned for two stops, one at Motueka Town and another at Te Waikoropupu Springs.
