I thought about sticking with Exmark but the dealers they have in my area have terrible service. The dealer I bought my mowers from had my Commercial 21 X Series for 7 weeks until I went there, went out into the yard where their mowers were sitting at and found my push mower in the "Junk" mower pile when I know for a fact it was running when I took it in there and just wanted a thorough tune up. They finally took care of it but I never want that to happen again. Also they keep telling me they are getting the best deals they can on the mowers but when I go an hour away to dealers in other towns, they are charging grand less for a lot of the units they have I was looking at Snapper Pro but the main dealer in the area is not responding to me, and the other one is another Exmark dealer who also has terrible service and not much initiative to sell me a Snapper Pro. My Bob Cat dealer will not return my calls and the nearest one after them is over an hour away. Scag pretty much is either one of the bad Exmark Dealers, never has them in stock and sells other mowers instead, or is too far away. But we have good Gravely dealers. I went to one and they took me back to where they had their mowers, handed me the keys and let me play with the Pro Stance and Pro Walk Demos they had, another is also very nice and I also got to meet the area Gravely Rep when I was there and he was a very nice gentleman. The final one is a little south of us but has a good reputation as well. My question is to all you Gravely guys who own them, how has your satisfaction with them been in the long run?
Also, Ferris has a few dealers in my area in case I need service whereas Scag is gravely vs exmark an hour and a half away.
