This award-winning site offers a wide selection of grassy pitches suitable for families and friends, as well as a collection of wooden camping pods. This well-equipped site boasts two newly upgraded toilet and shower blocks, washing-up areas, a laundry and drying room. There is one electric car charging point. Ideally located for walkers keen to explore the Lake District, we also offer an orienteering course around the site. For those better suited to cycling, bring your bike and hit the trails.

There are hiking trails from the campsite so it is possible to explore without your car and excellent climbing, even in winter. We operate a flexible pitching system which means that, instead of being allocated a specific pitch when you book, you will be able to choose a pitch on arrival. This has proved popular allowing more choice and better quality pitches whilst helping us to protect the land. As always, we're happy to hear your feedback on this. The discount applies to anyone who has booked and paid the normal full pitch price not group rates.
