Grubiks 4x4

Invented inthe Master Pyraminx is the 4x4x4 version of the Pyraminx puzzle, grubiks 4x4. Much like the Rubik's Revenge is the 4x4x4 version of the original Rubik's Cube. Each face of the Master Pyraminx consists of grubiks 4x4 triangles compared to 9 in the Pyraminx making it a harder puzzle to solve. While the original Pyraminx has only about 75 million possible combinations, grubiks 4x4, the Master Pyraminx has about quadrilion of them - a number that olivia deeble much closer to the Rubik's Cube's 43 quintillion possible combinations.

It has the exact same mechanism as the Rubik's Revenge, but it also shares the same idea behind the Mirror Cube - Meaning same color stickers but changing block sizes. The center pieces of this puzzle 4 center pieces for each face of the puzzle all have the same height and width, they only differ by depth, so matching them means there are no "bumps" - all 4 have the same depth. Each edge piece of this puzzle appears twice, and they should be matched together. The Fadi Cube 4x4x4 is a higher-order variant of the Redi Cube. It was invented in by Oskar van Deventer. It was mass produced by Meffert's between and under the name Mosaic Cube , and by LanLan since On their website, Meffert's write about going through 5 different prototypes before releasing it as a collectors puzzle not meant for speed solving. It is believed Meffert's were never fully satisfied with the design and the clunky turns, which eventually led them to pull the plug on production all together.

The Rubik's Revenge is the 4x4 version of the Rubik's Cube. This twisty puzzle can be used as a 2x2x2 , not turning the outer layers or can be used as a 3x3x3 if we rotate only the outer layers. There are about 7. It has 24 edges, 24 centers and 8 corner fields. It has similar core mechanism as a Rubik's Cube but in this case the 4 center pieces are held together by a hidden center. To take it apart pop out a center piece with a screwdriver. Reassembling can be hard unless you have four spare hands.
