Health Lottery now known as The Big Win tickets can be purchased online or from authorised Health Lottery retailers for up to five weeks in advance. Health Lottery tickets expire days after the date of a draw, so you will need to claim any prizes you win before this deadline. It is comprised of 12 society lotteries each representing local authority areas across England, Scotland and Wales. The local authority areas are selected in rotation to be the beneficiary of funds raised through ticket sales and are then used for health-related good causes. If you enter a draw on a Wednesday or Saturday, your Health Lottery now known as The Big Win numbers will also be placed into a special extra draw at no extra cost. Five numbers between 1 and 50 are selected at random, and you win if you match all five numbers. These prizes are shared if there are multiple winners.
