Heath Lodge celebrated another important milestone this week, with the award of CQC registration for the home. CQC or also known as Care Quality Commission registration, is a crucial step for any new care home as it validates that the home is fit for purpose and has everything in place to look after its residents. Registration is a legal requirement, which should give residents and families the peace of mind that everything has been independently checked and approved before the doors open. I think we have an amazing facility, and I cannot wait to greet our first residents next week. As part of the preparation plans this week Heath Lodge also welcomed the local fire services.
