And wanted to add: the map is beautifully built, so much detail with how all the routes and the map overall works, so much more strategy and adventure in moving than in most of the maps I've played! A lovely chore - Return of the damned - Heroes 3 map. Haven't yet finished guess this is an updated version of the map, regarding the messages of beating the map in motnhs and enemies being weak , but it's been a fun journey! First try I just quit when I thought I was doing well with dozens of Azure dragons and such just to get ran over more Nice story line, challenging opponents, funny signs on the road, an all inclusive hollyday. Unlike scenarios, you are given a hero with their own starting skills and specialties. You have almost no choice in the matter. You will succeed or fail in large part based on how you build your hero. As the name implies, Heroes are either Might focused or Magic focused. Might Heroes do not start with a spell book and you absolutely should buy one for each hero and have a predilection for the Attack and Defense stat over Wisdom and Spell Power as they level up, and will more often than not be offered Combat based secondary skills over magic ones.
