Today's sermon focuses on how our physical bodies deeply matter and there's a disconnection when we don't pay attention to it. Throughout the Bible, Jesus is the starting point to how we can see our physical bodies. You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. We're focusing on how God desires to teach us how to live into a soulful embodiment of being, belonging, and becoming. This week, Matt Fisher is sharing the next message in the Embody series.
However, we are part of an organization called ARC. The ARC church network helps plant and support new churches, as well as train and coach church leaders. Without the resurrection there is no faith, Christianity, or any hope for the future. He rose from the dead, appeared to eyewitnesses, and is still at work today through the Holy Spirit. We are not saved by our good deeds, nor do we have the ability to earn our way into Heaven. We are saved by the gracious act of Jesus being sent to die on a cross, resurrecting from the dead, and establishing His power and victory over sin. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, worked miracles and gave us an example to follow.
