The Hinox is a recurring overworld miniboss in Tears of the Kingdom. Though there are close to zero differences from the ones in Breath of the Wild, you can now find them even deepest corners of the Depths. Hinoxes are giant cyclopses that can deal high damage by tossing objects, swiping, or even sitting on their enemies. They come in three different variants: regular red , Blue, and Black. No matter the color, their weak point is obvious: the single, big eye in the middle of their oversized heads. Elemental weapons are still effective for damage, but Hinox are resistant to being frozen, shocked, or set ablaze with them. As for ranged, any bow will work. Take note that after hitting the Hinox in the eye with a few arrows, it will begin to temporarily cover it with one of his hands, making it a bit more difficult to hit.
