On my Synology Docker installation the Supervisor tab is missing. Is it possible to add it manually? How does it work? Thank you very much for you answer. The info location lists the core version that is a part of all the different install methods. This is not an indication of your install type. The Supervisor panel has been merged into the configuration panel. The separate menu item from the sidebar has been removed. Yes you are right, I would prefer have an option to add it to the side bar. I just updated home assistant, noticed the supervisor tab is gone and landed on this page. Dumb question, how do I shutdown my raspberry pi now? Supervisor after latest update is now under configuration menu, then you can shut down the host. I am searching exactly for this feature. Do yourself a favor and avoid the discord at all costs…. Seems to be a sign of the times. So went through the process of spinning up the HA os on a Raspberry Pi 4.
Ahaaa, that explains a thing or 2… Version core HAOS is rock solid and can be used for years without breaking.
Did anyone figure out where the heck supervisor mode went? And these developers call themselves Open Source. Is there already a solution for this? I have a Settings menu on the left with a gear icon. Clicking shows the Settings page and there is an Addons option. Head over to the add-on store to get started!

Home assistant supervisor missing
I am new to HA, and just installed a fresh copy of it. I am looking for the most features that are available and after reading all the documentation, I thought the method of install I chose would give that to me. I have a small form PC running Windows 11 and installed virtual box and downloaded the VDI file and installed it using the instructions found on the HA site. Windows - Home Assistant. I looked on the side panel and in the integrations, it said I need to manually install it. Where did I go wrong? Thanks in advance! It says that I have it, Supervisor

I am new to HA, and just installed a fresh copy of it. Can you be more specific? At some point is also was a tab with some status on it. So if you want full access to the host OS that HA is running on maybe because you want to use the machine for other apps outside of HA, etc and are moderately knowledgeable using docker then just stay with HA Container and run your own containers that are equivalent to the Supervisor add-ons. There are so many different instructions and UI versions, I have no idea what to do. I think I saw a video saying that I can find the path to it in supervisor. You may have to enable using the configuration. This is not an indication of your install type.
Supervisor integration allows you to monitor and control Supervisor add-ons and operating system from Home Assistant. Please note that this integration cannot be installed on Home Assistant Container or Core Python venv installation types.
