I spent around a week in Western Greenland, most of it in the tourist town of Ilulissat, on the edge of the fabulous Ilulissat Icefjord and Disko Bay. The above photo was made during an overnight hike I undertook around the town of Ilulissat from around 9pm till about 5am the following morning. The Ilulissat Icefjord is magnificent and the colors produced by the midnight sun can be quite surreal.
