As part of its ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion, and in anticipation of the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act ADA in July , Iowa PBS will engage Iowans with disabilities in a range of discussions about life in Iowa, from the Arts to agribusiness. Local content featuring Iowans with disabilities, their families and caregivers will be combined with select national programming during the month of July to highlight the successes and setbacks experienced by disability communities since the ADA was enacted in , and explore key issues such as employment, isolation and accessibility.

It is operated by the Iowa Public Broadcasting Board , an agency of the state education department which holds the licenses for all the PBS member stations in the state. We tell Iowa's stories like no one else can. Our four statewide, public channels offer programs of lasting value, regardless of where you live or what you can afford:. We offer all four of our channels to cable and satellite providers, however those companies make the final decision about whether or not to include them in their packages. They also determine the channel number in their system. If you are able to receive our signals with an antenna, but have a cable plan that does not offer all four channels, or you subscribe to satellite, you still have some options. If your cable or satellite box is not using the ANT IN port on the back of your set, you can plug an antenna in there and use your remote to switch between inputs. Or, consider having one TV in your home not connected to cable or satellite service to receive our over the air signals.
