Although, even in his first appearance, he was already old, and having that fantabulous bushy white mustache. His attendance in the latest games in the series, even big or main ones, is lacking. I was going to complain about him not being in Luigi's Mansion 3, and instead there being some random unnamed Toad stewards in his stead, when it hit me that he's never been in the Luigi's Mansion series. He's been in the main series. He was prominent in Sunshine. He wasn't even in Paper Jam, which was a game focused on only mainline Mario characters. Not even a part of Super Mario Maker 2 at all. Throughout the more and more recent releases of these games, is Nintendo trying to suggest that Toadsworth has finally kicked the bucket?

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate back in was the most recent new game for Toadsworth to appear in, and even then it was as a collectible spirit. He got to make a proper appearance in The Thousand Year Door , but the death of the Mario And Luigi series seems to have spelled out the death of the character. But why? Why not use him more often?
