His twisted rationale works in the end because they do defeat It, and he leaves heartfelt letters to all his friends.

Funko Pop! I agree, the movie had some positives. He asks the shop owner played by none other than Stephen King if he can buy the bike. Mike is in the library where Henry finds him and attacks him. The lair begins to crumble and collapse around them. Yeah I loved the kids but they used them too much in 2 especially considering they had a strong adult cast. It's a massive gut punch, especially because of how Richie Bill Hader reacts to it, although we should have known that Eddie wouldn't last to the end.
