A project that has been in the works now for a few years in now all wrapped up. I was asked to create three paintings that were uplifting and warm feeling, based on specific dimensions for placement in the Cardiac Unit of the University of Alberta Hospital. After a few rounds of sketches and discussion I painted these three beauties. Spring , I was contacted by the agency Free to create a poster based on quote to be used in a add campaign to promote clean air in Alberta. A Faculty memeber was retiring and they wanted to give him a present that would represent all his career in law.

A city is a collection of its parts. Some parts are old, some are new, even some are built upon the old. All these parts come together to make the whole. Buildings are one of those things that stand the test of time better than most, they are the leaves, roots, rocks, hills and valleys that tell our story.
