OK, I had heard that events like Jeep's annual Jamborees exist, jeep liberty 2005, but nothing I had previously conceptualized could have prepared me for the parking lot full o Something weird happened during this black Rubicon's week in my clutches. The Jeep Liberty is a four door unibody compact SUV manufactured and marketed by Jeep for model years — over two generations, internally designated the KJ and KK , respectively. Both generations were marketed globally, including as the Jeep Cherokee outside North America. The KK generation was manufactured alongside the closely related Dodge Nitro. Production ended in August The Liberty was superseded by the Jeep Cherokee. Inspired by styling from the Dakar [3] and Jeepster [4] concept vehicles , the Liberty replaced the discontinued Jeep Cherokee. The Liberty was the first Jeep vehicle to use rack and pinion steering, [5] and was the first Jeep to use the two then-new PowerTech engines; the horsepower kW 2.

The Jeep Liberty offers a good balance for someone who enjoys the outdoors. Day in and day out, it takes the place of a car or wagon. The Liberty seats four comfortably and can carry up to five people and their gear. Fold the rear seats and it can move two people and some serious cargo. Turn off the pavement and it's able to negotiate most trails with confidence. True to Jeep heritage, the Liberty offers legitimate off-road capability. In this respect, it stands apart from the herd of compact sport-utility vehicles, few of which offer true off-road capability. The Liberty gives up some refinement and road agility to do this. On the road, it does not ride or handle as well as some of the other small SUVs.
