While new parents Jillian and Justin adjust to life with a newborn, the financial strain of their dream home leaves them battling the budget — and each other.

There was no reason for us to call the film crew because our show was just going to be about our home design but at some point between contractions, Justin convinced me that not only would this be incredible to catch on camera but he thought it would be amazing to share our experience with everyone. And it was then that our documentary series was born … along with Leo. People are going to see a different side of me which makes me a little bit scared but hell, I AM human after all. I honestly believe a lot of people especially new families will relate to us in this series. We hope you all can laugh, learn and cry right along with us!! I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that we shared SO much of our lives with you!! We wanted to share our candid moments with you to show you that we are a family just like everyone else. We truly hope you enjoy these four episodes as I feel so lucky to have the ability to share our story with you. Okay, back to the recap … oh man … where do I even begin?? So, remember when I shared my birth story blog read the blog post here a few months back and I hinted about the camera crew being there?? Well, we were filming for this show and we wrapped for the day and low and behold my water broke two hours after they left!! Yes, I had imagined it being just the two of us. That was one of the scariest moments of my life … especially being pregnant with Leo! I was absolutely horrified when I spoke to him and my mind was totally racing all over the place as you can well imagine. That was my actual reaction. Can we also just chat about the Vancouver baby shower quickly?! Everything was beyond beautiful and watching it all over again made my eyes swell up with tears of joy.

Justin receives a surprise job offer from his father, while Jillian struggles as she returns to work and leaves Leo for the first time. How exciting!!
