JN Bentley offers exciting commercial roles across a wide number of clients and sectors, from water, aerospace, environmental and sustainable engineering throughout England and Wales. As a quantity surveyor, you will be involved throughout the entire project life cycle, from early contractor involvement, optioneering, tender negotiation through to the design, procurement, construct, commissioning and handover of schemes. Dependant on the contract, you will play a key role as part of an integrated design and operational team alongside our key supply chain to support our clients to maximise opportunities and mitigate risks to influence the contractual and commercial aspects of schemes and help deliver successful outcomes. Being part of this integrated team will also provide unique opportunities to contribute to greater social and sustainable outcomes. The JN Bentley operations team work to deliver sustainable solutions for our clients customers, our communities and the environment. The operational team are involved in all stages from input into tendering and design, to leading the construction, commissioning and handover phases of our projects to deliver innovative and efficient solutions for our clients. Working alongside design and commercial counterparts — as a triangle — to deliver high quality projects, on time, on budget and with zero injuries.

Under the deal, Kier with deliver work in the South, while J N Bentley will undertake the same contract for the North. They now play an equally important role in society as corridors for nature, tackling health inequalities and improving community wellbeing, as well as supporting jobs and local economies.
