Located on and under historic Signal Hill, the centre was constructed in a natural rock basin, originally filled with peat covering glacial till and boulders. The basin was excavated and the centre built to fit within over linear feet of exposed rock walls. Don't miss this chance to venture underground and explore our province's geological history! To fully appreciate the many displays and exhibits, we recommend you set aside 2—3 hours.
