Just the day before the concert I went to, I read some of these reviews and got super worried his live show wouldn't live up to the hype I had for him; tl;dr, it was everything I could've ever wanted. The concert altogether was about two hours, not three as we were told, though that's pretty common with concerts so I wasn't expecting three. The opener was Rei Brown, a really talented lo-fi type of artist like joji, his music is definitely on the slower side even for lo-fi but he's crazy talented both vocally and from a production perspective. The most criticism I'd give him is he could add more variety to his music, but for the 40ish minute performance he did I was really impressed favorite song is Street Fighter. There was a noticable delay between him and Joji, though this was an issue with the venue and not 88rising because there was something wrong with a heater. Now onto Joji, he was incredible.
