I've purchased quite a few Lancaster versions over the yrs and it never disappoints. Longevity is eternal with help from the ever present Bergamot, which I swear is in almost every fragrance known to man, precious jasmine and sweet Heliotrope, right on down to that magical vanilla centered ending, this fragrance I think has shocked the fragrance world because I don't think the creators knew exactly what they had. It's no secret why this scent has been chugging along for over 30yrs and I can see it hanging around for at least another 30!

It is a true classic, and a masterpiece in my opinion. Long speech, short sense: Current version quite ok to revel in nostalgic times Examples such as a le male parfum or the most wanted are ideal contemporary witnesses as one should just not tackle it. You have to dare him - not for everyone - but unfortunately, I find him just skilful. I can tolerate it, but I wouldn't want to wear this for long. This is the olfactory equivalent of an ice cream mountain with every possible condiment liberally poured over the top. And that of a student with five semesters of chemistry on her back. The heliotrope cinnamon vanilla bomb is spreading all over the gravel ball. Not as bad as I thought it would be. The most vile cologne I have ever smelled!! Anyway, I am still trying to figure out this fragrance completely, I started wearing it only a few days ago, and had it in my collection for years.
