Joyo vintage overdrive schematic
Highly regarded for sounding almost identical to a true Maxon OD and with build quality made to last, the JF is leading the charge for high quality clone pedals coming out of China. The Joyo JF is a completely different beast. It is just a genuinely good pedal and it just so happens that it can be picked up for a very reasonable amount of money. The JF stays very true to its inspiration. It can be powered by a standard 9V battery or Boss-style adapter. The green aluminum-alloy enclosure features control knobs for Drive, Tone, and Volume. Joyo has also included true bypass, which in recent years has become quite a popular modification in modern Tube Screamer clones. Inside, the Joyo JF uses the famous RC op-amp, which provides that signature warm, overdriven sound Tube Screamers are known for. Using only the Drive and Tone knobs, you can get a nice sweet crunch out of a clean channel, and the volume knob can be used by itself to provide a relatively transparent clean boost. As a metal player, my main use for Tube Screamer and overdrive-type pedals is through an already distorted channel to push the amp to its sweet spot, tighten up the low-end, and remove the high-gain fizz. In this regard, the Joyo is absolutely spectacular. If I were building a gigging pedalboard, this would be one of the first pedals on there. I really like the JF, and I am glad Joyo is offering it at a price-point that makes it affordable for both beginner guitarists and budget-conscious musicians to achieve killer tone. Least that is the way I take it to be. The PeeWee Hammond is a cool little amp.
By fishingjude October 16, in Effects and Processors. First off - Why are your changing the switch? The one that comes with the pedal is a true bypass. If its failing, have you cleaned it with pot cleaner first? If it hasn't failed yet there's absolutely nothing to be gained by changing it. If it has failed and cleaning hasn't fixed it then you simply need to buy another switch of the same kind, de-solder the old one and re-solder the new one in its place.
Hello David i have a cuestion, i need replaced de Capacitor 10? Hello, good question, It's not weel explained in my post above. Anyway, the fat switch select from the C10 cap between a nF or nF, but you can experiment other values that may sounds better to you. Hallo,if you can know how much the value of C2 and DO, less clear writing. Hello, D0 is a 1n it's just a reverse current protection diode, C2 is uF. My question is how do I know which one of the wires are the pc in and the pc out coming from the pcb board of the pedal. I need to connect these 2 wires to the new relay module but I cant see anything showing them marked on the pedal.

Can someone tell me the specs of D0 to see if I can get it in my country please. What's going on with that amp? So Oclock pot setting would be in line with the clocks hour little hand, not minute hand. I'm pretty handy with the soldering iron, I'll do a bass mod to get a thicker, creamery tone out of it. On the Vintage OD, just had to say we had kind of a run away church service today where we jammed on the same rocken song for a while and I got to really give this box a real workout along with my fingers. When we parted ways I gave it back but I kinda miss that old fuzz. You can try leds, no problem at all, IR just sounds slightly better to me.. Then use one of the other pin of the switch to connect the nF, the other pin to nF caps, then both the cap connected to the C10 terminal, the one connected to R4, of course remove C
By ColinB , July 14, in Effects. I found this scematic for the TS-5 online, and and then worked out which componants were mapped to which by following the traces on the JF I removed the equivalent diodes D2 and D3, the resistors R18 and R19, and the capacitor C10 from the Joyo circuit board. Here they're labelled up as they would be according to the TS-5 schematic: So I replaced R19 with a 10k ohm resistor, R18 with a 3.
Trying to solve that. It has a diode burned D0. The other way is to take an Ibanez schematic and figure out where those components are on the Joyo PCB, then follow the traces to where those white wires connect. It is very similar to the ts9. Share this: Twitter Facebook. Ultimately I found I had dialed in too much gain, so I dialed that back a bit and am Happy. Posted July 18, R5 is closest to C3 and R17 is closest to the Tone Pot. If there are not numbers, it is the clock face. And I guess I'll always be in the dark unless someone is using knobs with numbers on them and zero is max CCW. Do not drink and solder.
In it something is also to me it seems it is good idea. I agree with you.
