About JSOT. From its inception, the aims of the JSTS have been to promote the acquisition and utilization of knowledge in toxicology and to facilitate the exchange of information among its members, as well as among investigators worldwide. It is the journal where many scholars feel at home, where they can express their most pioneering and sometimes even strange ideas, provided these ideas meet the highest standards of research. When one compares it with more conservative journals, one wonders what we would do without JSOT. Since its establishment in , the Journal for the Study of the Old Testament has become widely regarded as offering the best in current scholarship on the Old Testament across a range of critical methodologies.
